LOCKWOOD — Two days to get to know each other and then face off between some of the best players in the state sounds like fun.
The 18 players selected for the third annual Midland Roundtable Montana All-Star Volleyball Classic did just that. The Red team earned a 3-1 victory over the Blue by a margin of 25-16, 23-25, 27-25, 25-23.
Billings West’s Sydney Pierce sealed the victory with a final kill to lead all players with 22 total. Bozeman Gallatin’s Karsen Breeding added 14 kills, Billings West’s Addie Allen had 34 assists with two aces, Huntley Project’s Kirra Ban had 36 digs, and Belt’s Trinity Tinsen had 3.5 blocks.
“I definitely like having (Pierce) on my team versus against me,” Breeding said. “It’s so much better to have her. She’s just such a strong presence on the court.”
