Have you ever dreamt of stepping into the world of the Bridgerton family, facing off against Vecna in the “Stranger Things” Upside Down, or attending a “Knives Out” dinner party? Your dreams are about to come true.
Netflix has announced the launch of Netflix Houses, expansive entertainment complexes where fans can immerse themselves in real-life experiences inspired by their favorite shows and movies from the streaming platform.
These venues will offer a variety of interactive activities, including themed restaurants serving dishes from the shows, shopping experiences with related merchandise, challenges like the Glass Bridge from “Squid Game,” replica sets, and more, as noted on Netflix.
The first two locations are scheduled to open in 2025 at two popular shopping centers in the U.S.: Galleria Dallas in Texas and the King of Prussia mall near Philadelphia. These Netflix Houses will occupy over 100,000 square feet each, situated in former department store spaces within the malls.
“At Netflix House, visitors can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, engage in retail therapy, and savor unique food and drink offerings inspired by their favorite Netflix series and films,” stated Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer. “These venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways.”
Netflix describes these locations as the “next generation” of entertainment offerings, aiming to bring their content off the screen and into the real world for fans to enjoy. The company has already found success with over 50 experiences across 25 cities worldwide.
Current Netflix experiences available globally include “Bridgerton” high tea settings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and London; an immersive “Stranger Things” exhibit in São Paulo, Brazil; and a “Knives Out” dinner party in Toronto.
